Couples Therapy

In your couples therapy you may want guidance on how to help your children deal with the conflicts or stresses within the home. Some couples may have already decided they want to separate and seek help in learning how to make the process as smooth and collaborative as possible. Executive Coaching & Leadership Development

HumaNexus associated psychologists do not train leaders; they help develop them. Training is often a one direction, didactic, one-size fits all approach meant for audiences and groups. Being psychologists, we specialize in getting to know our clients and tailoring the leadership development to be similar to coaching an elite athlete.  We assume you have leadership skills and serve to develop them more fully while ensuring that any weaknesses do not significantly hinder your success.

Neuropsychological & Psychoeducational Testing

Neuropsychologists test a person's intelligence, reasoning, learning, attention/ concentration, memory (short-term and long-term), language, visual-perceptual and motor functioning, executive functioning (e.g. inhibition, planning, problem solving), and psychopathology. Assessments usually take 3-6 hours and a comprehensive written report is produced and reviewed with the patient during one or two feedback and intervention sessions.

(Video) Gaming Addiction, which the World Health Organization describes as a pattern of persistent or recurrent gaming behaviour so severe that it takes precedence over other life interests, is ruining the ability of teens to lead fulfilling lives. Non-suicidal Self Injury or Self-harming Behaviour has exploded in prevalence in the adolescent population. HumaNexus associates have the expertise to treat these specific problems.
